ADELPHI UNIVERSITY: Fred Breithut FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Scholarship - FIRST scholarships are awarded incoming freshmen who have participated in the FIRST FRC or FTC programs or who has been a mentor for an FLL team during his or her high school career. AMERICAN UNIVERSITY - Frederick Douglass Distinguished Scholars
The award-winning Frederick Douglass Distinguished Scholars (FDDS) program at American University (AU) offers five full scholarships to high potential, incoming freshmen dedicated to creative problem-solving, post-baccalaureate education, and socially-responsible leadership. Students applying as freshmen who would like to be considered for the scholarship must complete the FDDS program AND Honors program applications by January 15th. While they encourage applications from all ambitious, well-rounded students, the most competitive applicants will have a minimum 3.8 GPA (unweighted) or 4.0 GPA (weighted). BARD COLLEGE CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC - Brass, Double Bass and Composition Scholarships
The Conservatory five-year, double-degree program admits exceptionally talented musicians who have already achieved a superior degree of instrumental proficiency, or have substantial accomplishment as composers. To be admitted, applicants must submit an application to both the Conservatory and the College, perform a successful audition, and be accepted by Bard College. The chances of being admitted to the College will be substantially enhanced by outstanding achievement in music. BOSTON UNIVERSITY - Trustee Scholarship Competition
BU’s most prestigious merit-based award recognizes students who show outstanding academic and leadership abilities. Every year, Boston University welcomes about 20 outstanding students to the Trustee Scholars Program. Many of our their Scholars had 4.0 grade point averages in high school and typically ranked in the top 5–10% of their class. In addition to exceptional academic credentials, Trustee Scholars are intellectually and creatively adventurous and demonstrate viewpoints, experiences or achievements beyond the usual. To be considered submit the Common Application and all required materials for admission to one of the undergraduate degree programs at Boston University by December 1.

BUCKNELL UNIVERSITY - FIRST (Robotics) Scholarship: In support of the FIRST (Robotics Team) mission, this $10,000 renewable scholarship is for applicants who have participated on a FIRST team during their high school career. This scholarship can be utilized for any undergraduate course of study at Bucknell, with first preference given to electrical engineering, computer engineering and computer science & engineering. CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY - First (Robotics) Scholarship, and Andrew and Eleanor Squire Scholarship. All due January 15, 2019 In support of the FIRST mission, Case Western Reserve University offers two First Scholarships of $10,000 to high school seniors who have participated on a FIRST team during high school. This scholarship may be utilized for any undergraduate course of study at Case Western Reserve University. The scholarship is renewable up to a total of $40,000 over four years in equal installments, contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Each recipient must meet all regular academic requirements for admission to Case Western Reserve University. The A.W. Smith Innovation Scholarship is awarded to students who have shown exceptional achievement in hands-on engineering or science through a successful project (open to students in engineering, physical sciences and mathematics). The Andrew and Eleanor Squire Scholarship is a four year full tuition scholarship open to students in the arts, humanities, management, accountancy, and natural, social and behavioral sciences. CORNELL UNIVERSITY - DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival)-status students will be considered domestic students by Cornell for purposes of admission and financial aid and thus are eligible for need-blind admissions and need-based financial aid like any US citizen or permanent resident. Cornell will provide institutional financial aid in place of federal/state grants and loans; summer savings and academic year work may be included in the package, and DACA students are expected to obtain federal work authorization as part of their federal DACA status. DAVIDSON UNIVERSITY - Belk Scholarship - Comprehensive funding (tuition, fees, room and board) plus special study stipends. Belk Scholars must demonstrate exceptional achievement and promise in academics, character, leadership and service. You must be nominated for this scholarship by Brooklyn Tech by the first week in November and apply to Davidson by December 1st.
DAYTON (University of) - Leadership in Service Scholarship - Seniors with a passion for personal development and a commitment to service (within their school, church or community) can be nominated to receive a $10,000 Leadership in Service scholarship ($2,500 per year for four years). Nominees will also be eligible to receive a University of Dayton merit scholarship, worth up to $98,000 over four years. I The University of Dayton also offers a Deacon’s Scholarship for an incoming student whose father, grandfather or uncle is a permanent, active deacon of the Roman Catholic or Orthodox Church may be eligible for a Deacon’s Scholarship, a renewable, four-year scholarship. DAYTON (University of) - Future Flyer Pitch Competition - This startup style competition gives future entrepreneurs the chance to earn up to $40,000 in scholarships over four years to the University of Dayton. Students must submit a two-minute video that presents a solution to a challenge faced by their local community. Video submissions are due November 1st and finalists will be announced in January. D’YOUVILLE COLLEGE - Three out of four incoming undergraduate students at D'Youville College receive an institutional scholarship or grant. HARVEY MUDD COLLEGE - FIRST (Robotics) Scholarship - Offers a $10,000 scholarship, renewable for up to four years, to a student who has participated in a FIRST Competition in high school. Top candidates will have assumed some kind of leadership role on their team, and should be able to express how their participation in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) or FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) has positively impacted their interest in the STEM fields.

HOWARD UNIVERSITY Bison STEM Scholars Program The Bison STEM Scholars Program aims to expand and extend the reach of Howard University’s leadership role in producing more African American students immersed in science, technology, engineering and mathematics that will change the landscape in higher education and contribute to a world that is increasingly diverse and global in nature. The BSSP will incorporate mentoring, tutoring, in group support, financial support, personal counseling, summer bridge, family support and study groups. Recipients will receive scholarship support for tuition/fees, room, board, meals and a stipend for books. Students must have an overall GPA of 3.0+, at least “B” in college prep science and math courses, at least 600 on the SAT math and 500 on SAT English. MARYLAND (UNIVERSITY OF) - Meyerhoff Scholars Program Open to seniors intending to pursue undergraduate studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics (STEM). Applicants must have at least a “B” average in math and science courses, outstanding SAT scores, and a genuine interest in science. Students must also plan to pursue graduate studies in a STEM field and have an interest in the advancement of underrepresented students in the sciences and related fields. MIAMI UNIVERSITY (in Ohio) - Bridges Program
The Bridges Program is an overnight visit experience for high-achieving high school seniors from historically underrepresented populations or who have a commitment to promoting a deeper understanding of and appreciation for diversity. Students representing different racial/ethnic, sexual orientation and gender identity, and socioeconomic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Students who complete the program, apply, are accepted, and enroll on the Oxford campus will be eligible to receive the Bridges Program scholarship. MICHIGAN (UNIVERSITY OF) - Geisinger Scholarship Program
The Geisinger Scholarship provides $20,000 to out-of-state students from selected geographic areas (NYC included), admitted to the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Recipients must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering. The scholarship is awarded for four years ($80,000 total) and is contingent on satisfactory academic progress and maintenance of a 3.0 GPA. MONTCLAIR STATE UNIVERSITY - Montclair State University is excited to announce the National Student Scholarship. Beginning with the class entering in Fall 2019, highly qualified students from outside New Jersey are now eligible for in-state tuition. Students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or better on an unweighted 4.0 scale, qualify for in-state tuition and fees. There's no separate application to be considered and no additional materials need to be submitted. At Montclair State University, the rate for in-state tuition and fees for a year of full-time study is $12,790, a savings of $7,788 compared to the out-of-state cost. MOUNT. ST. VINCENT (COLLEGE OF) - Corazon C. Aquino Scholarship - This four-year, full-tuition scholarship is awarded to a high-achieving incoming first-year student of Filipino descent. Students will be notified in their mailed acceptance packets if they are eligible to participate in the required interview process, which will be held in January to mid-February. Award recipients will be notified in March. While attending CMSV, Aquino students must maintain a 3.2 GPA to retain their award. Aquino students will also be required to declare either a Philippine Studies or Tagalog minor. Mt. St. Vincent offers a range of other merit scholarships. NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY: Park Scholarship
This four year scholarship covers tuition, room/board, books, and other personal expenses. It also includes enrichment grants to fund study aboard, research projects, conferences and more. the park scholarship. The leadership development segment prepares students to make lifelong contributions to their communities. For out-of-state students, the value is $213,000! Students must apply by Nov 1. NORTH CAROLINA CHARLOTTE (UNIVERSITY OF)- Levine Scholarship: Four year scholarship program focused on civic engagement and social responsibility. Includes full tuition, room and board, a grant to implement a service project of the student’s design, and four summers of experiences that will develop leadership skills, social awareness and an international perspective. While there is no minimum GPA/SAT score, students must demonstrate a commitment to community service, hold an academic record that reflects a sustained passion for knowledge, and possess a capacity for ethical leadership that elevates fellow students to a higher standard. QUEENS COLLEGE - TIME 2000 Program: A four-year secondary mathematics teacher preparation program offering scholarships towards tuition. Participants are part of a close-knit learning community in which they take their mathematics and education courses together, engage in study groups, and attend seminars, conferences, and off-campus events. Close guidance and support are provided by carefully selected faculty who teach in the program. Students in this program double major in mathematics and secondary education. Upon graduation and completion of New York State examinations, students are fully qualified to begin teaching mathematics in grades 7 through 12. ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (RIT) Project Lead the Way Scholarship If you have completed two or more more PLTW courses (and many of your have!) you may qualify for a scholarship for $7,000 per year ($28,000 total). You would need to submit a letter of recommendation from a PLTW teacher along with RIT admission application and school transcripts by January 15th to RIT.
SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART & DESIGN (SCAD) - Distinguished Scholar Award This $20,000 annual award is applied to tuition at any SCAD location including online via SCAD eLearning. To be considered, students must be recommended by a teacher, professor or counselor. Nominations must be received by February 1st. SOUTHERN METHODIST UNIVERSITY (SMU) - Hunt Leadership Scholarship - annual Hunt Scholarship of $42,000, or a total of $168,000 over four years for students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities. Hunt Scholars may also be eligible for additional departmental scholarships or need-based aid. In addition, the scholarship also covers the airfare and tuition costs for any courses during an international, leadership-based experience immediately following each scholar’s sophomore year. National CO-OP Scholarship
